An obscure shmup gem
The gameplay is not quite as unforgiving as Gradius or R Type, it gives you more opportunities to succeed than most shooters. You can choose how you go about each mission with special weapons, but balances out by having you purchase them. Any leftover specials at the end of a mission is actually paid back to you, yet if you die, you lose the money you paid as well as the weapons.
There's two difficulty modes, 3 different pilots, 8 planes to upgrade to, and at least 10 or 11 different weapons. It really creates a lot of replay value.
This is one of those games that watching game play videos will help a lot in deciding if it's your kind of game. For shmup fans, I'm confident you'll love this one of you have not played it before!

Gorgeous
One of my newest favorite cards is Maiden With Eyes Of Blue and this sleeve pic seems to capture why well. She's nonchalauntly holding a Blue Eyes White Dragon (I'm assuming) since that is what she unleashes upon being threatened. Sleeves appear to be good quality and quite clear on front. Recommend these!

DDR reborn
3 of 4 found this helpful This is the best DDR mix i've played on a console since DDR Extreme2! Anyone from beginner to guru should get this! The stepcharts for just about every difficulty level have been well designed (and I've played all the ps2 DDR games so I know), and for me, Expert difficulty is fun again! I've played all the easier difficulties on all the songs and I'd say it's well rounded. Some great favorites from the past return in this one as well! As far as control feel, they changed the timing window (in non tech terms, the step reaction) when you hit an arrow so it feels much more with the music and it's not hard to get perfects but not terribly easy either, feels great and one of my favorites of the ps2 DDR games. Not bad to play even with the cheap soft pads, and I can only imagine how much better it can get with pad upgrades from RedOctane like the Ignition or the metal pads such at the Cobalt Flux (I wish I had one!).
