Vinyl mastering flat
Mine is a US pressing LP. Compared to the Uk CD the mastering is very flat indeed. Not sure if I have a duff copy? Nice music though. Underrated effort from Chris and Co.

Excellent - but won't go deep deep
I picked up the Menuets for a really good price so I'm reviewing them as a £300-400 speaker. They are crystal clear. They throw a very impressive soundstage. Everything is accurate. What they don't do is go super low. You hear everything as it was mastered so they won't flatter an average recording.
The build quality is excellent. Plus they are very compact. Beware when trying to find stands as top plate needs to be c.140mm. If you live in an apartment or have intolerant neighbours then these could be the perfect monitors!
