Good while it lasted
0 of 1 found this helpful I bought several of these from Cdn Tire last year. They are one of the few 100W equivalent bulbs you can get, most are 60W and under. The daylight color is nice, its bright, but of the 5 bulbs I bought, one failed within a couple of weeks, a little short of the 22 years. My others are fine...so far...but these are pricey to begin with, even on sale. I hadn't heard of Feit before, but with a 20% failure rate, their name isnt on my good list.

A decent product...unless...
...you have weak hands. The vent caps take some work to snap on, probably more than an elderly person or child would have. They also take a lot of effort to push into the 31/64" hole, but that should prevent it from leaking. A hammer didnt work for me (as suggested), but using a small block of wood to push it into the hole worked.
I found that on newer Scepter gascans the only viable spot to drill is on the flat part under the handle, (the handle is too small and round, kind of like a large hotdog), but I would much rather have it where traditional vents were placed, before politicians took over the design of gascans. This is a decent product and allows you to pour gas almost as well as you could 10 years ago. Hopefully a better product comes out to allow a nice fit into a round Scepter handle. I bought 30 of these.
