Clover Wonder Clips
1 of 1 found this helpful I have 300 Clover Wonder Clips. I use them when making quilts to help hold the outside edge binding in place. The Clover Wonder Clips hold well and stay in place. I unfortunately also bought some Wonder Clips that were advertised as Clover Wonder Clips off Ebay, but they were not. They were imitations. You can tell the imitations by looking at the metal clip. The Clover Wonder Clips metal clips are rounded on the corners, while the imitations are squared off. On the edge of the Clover Wonder Clips, there are two round bumps on the lower jaw that fit into indents in the upper jaw, and then there are two round bumps on the upper jaw that fit into indents on the lower jaw. The imitations also have thee, but the bumps are not nearly as pronounced, which causes them to move around and not grip well at all. Do not buy the imitations. You will be sorry. Spend the extra money and purchase the genuine Clover Wonder Clips. Here's another example of how I used these clips. I purchased a full size fitted sheet at a garage sale to make a sheet for my granddaughter's pack-n-play. The sheet I bought in the store were too tight after they were washed. I set up my cutting mat on the bar top, stretched the elastic edge out straight, and use the Clover Wonder Clips to hold the edge down. Then I used my rotary cutter to quickly and evenly cut off the elastic. They held great. The imitations would not stay in place, and let the elastic edge move. I can't believe that I took so long to purchase these clips. They are a great time saver.
