Parents
This is classic late 80s 'horror' at it's best. The film is based in 1950s suburbia, with a strange aura behind it. A young boy walks in on his parents having sex, which disturbs him throughout the film, letting his imagination go wild. Based on this, he begins to wonder where all the meat his parents give him is coming from. He is suspicious of the meat he is given every night for dinner, and starts to think that his parents are cannibals. His dad (Randy Quaid) conveniently works around dead bodies, and it becomes glaringly obvious that the boy has been eating human meat for some time. This is definitely a film to show a vegetarian. The meat-loaf scenes are doctored up to make the dishes look about as perfectly uncomfortable as humanly possible. The soundtrack to this movie is amazing, too. Definitely give this film a look-see.

Excellent Movie
This is one of the best films directed by Clint Eastwood. If you enjoy good heart-warming road-style movies, then this will be your thing. It follows a prison escapee, Butch (Kevin Costner) who kidnaps a boy from his home with another prison escapee who he is not fond of. They are, of course, running from the police and are trying to keep low-profile. Butch ends up ridding them of his fellow prison escapee (very cool scene), and begins a male-bonding relationship with the young boy; who he begins to refer to as "Buzz." Throughout the film Butch becomes somewhat of a father figure to the fatherless Buzz, while Butch feels the same way, and tries to teach the boy simple male instincts, i.e.: Peeing on trees, riding on top of cars for a thrill. Butch is ideological and wishes for the best, while at the same time knowing he is a "bad guy." Very good film, definitely worth watching. It's a shame that this film isn't very popular. Side note: If you are from central Texas like I am, pay attention to the locations!

Great Stick for a Beginning Amateur
I was getting absolutely sick of the cue sticks at the local pool hall. They are okay at best, but still just too variable. I did a lot of reading about sticks, and the one piece of advice that stuck with me: You should buy a stick if for no other reason than to have one that is consistent that you know. So I bought this one. It's a great stick. Very straight. Shoots wonderfully. It's not the best, obviously, but it's a thousand times better than those broom sticks they have at the bar! This thing hits solid, and is very consistent. I love the grip on it, I didn't want a rubber grip, I just don't like them. This one is very comfortable. I highly recommend this stick for a beginning amateur who wants to step up their game. No stick is a magical answer, but this one will give you the consistency you're looking for and improve your straight shot.
