The Magic Receiver
1 of 1 found this helpful One off a kind All Mode General Coverage Portable/Desktop AC/DC Receiver which still out performs most receivers in it's class today. No filters, but it's excellent for quick frequency spotting on SSB signals. The only other Desktop receiver of it's vintage which may outperform it is the AOR-3000A, which often sells for twice the price, for little gain. I know, I have 5 of each! vk2faab.

Partialy Works.
Unfortunately the speed does not work on this remote.
It's either on or off. However, at least Hot or Cold can be selected.
Still worth it if your original remote has died, simply because of the price.
The picture is misleading, showing HITACHI when the item sent is Not.
The item sent shows ' Made in China', instead of HITACHI, like the original.
This remote is a Chinese Clone, and Not Original, so all functions won't work.
