Good Value Software Not Great
5 of 6 found this helpful I needed to back up a 1 TB HD on a PC I was selling or donating. The WD PP is very small and easy to plug in and use. My only problem is the back up software. I attempted to use it. It was very slow and still not sure if its there. I tried to plug it in to my other desktop pc. I was unable to recover my archived files. I gave up. So I erased the WD drive. I used Windows File Explorer to simply copy and paste my files on the WD drive. It did that quickly. I tested it on my other PC. No problem finding and transferring files to my other PC. So it served my purpose. I would not use as an automatic back up external drive unless you are using another back up software you have confidence in.
