Your choice if you like Sci-Fi warfare with aliens and futuristic high tech, etc.
The series was planned with a sequence of experiences with each and all of the Wild Card battle group members against an alien race that had wiped out two unsuspecting colonies. Good action in each episode. Unfortunately, the series was not completed or at least given a logical conclusion about the conflict between us and the "Chigs" as they were called. Of course, the drift of the episodes suggested that we started off at a technical disadvantage but quickly shifted our struggle towards approaching "the final touchdown". The series stopped short on that goal. Surprising shock about the aliens does come to light. The series is recored as 23 episodes on 3 double sided DVDs. No problems with play and quality on any of the sides.

NEW LG Slim Portable DVD Writer GP40 USB on iMac
This was tested for iMac specifically. Toast was used for programming recording and the writer was successful. Playback, using a commercial movie as well as the just recorded content, was successful also. The writer worked with DVD- and + blanks. Response to eject via the computer was good every time. Button response for loading a DVD worked every time, as well. In summary, the writer performed as expected for iMac and Toast -record/ playback. This summary applies to a NEW unit. As for used, buyer takes what comes. DC

LG slim and large burners.
This writer was tested with Toast on an iMac. Play of commercial dvd's and recording of personal content worked perfectly. Quality of the newly recorded content was very good. I have purchased the older, large LG burners going back to as early as 2005 and they are dependable, too. Big and small (this Slim Writer is the third I have bought and no problems with the earlier ones), LG does very well in this area of computer work.
