For light duty only
I bought the stainless steel hog rings that match the mini pliers. The pliers would not bend the hog rings properly; instead the rings came together at the points instead of by passing each other. I had to use vise grips to get proper closure of the rings. I'm not certain if the mini pliers or the hog rings were at fault. They would work fine if all you needed was to attach two items loosely but if you needed to firmly attach the two items(as in bungee cord) you will need a higher quality set of pliers. The photo shows the limited capability of the pliers.

It didn't work for me.
Pro: Really well made product, it's inexpensive and easy to use. Con: I used it a couple of times and the results were spotty both times. Parts of the egg were cooked and parts were not. The eggs tended to stick to the cavity and were hard to release without missing things up.

Good but difficult
It was really difficult to install the lock core in this brand new, factory packaged item. Once installed the lock works as it should.
