This is a spring cushioned riser stand but the springs are not strong. Overall this ‘220 SS’ stand feels stronger than an equivalent Alu stand and maybe just 20% heavier. Everything works as it should – it would easily handle a heavy Monolight with a medium softbox.
Dimensions: Only 191cm tall when legs reach their max footprint diameter (despite the ‘220’ in the name). Legs are 22mm but would need to be pinched up slightly to achieve 45 degrees as when used with (after market) castors. Max footprint diameter is 86cm. (For comparison, the radius achieved by the longest leg on a C-stand is 43cm.)
While this stand should be noticeably stronger than an otherwise equivalent Alu stand, it is not close to the strength of Steel stands with welded-in full length Baby-Pin top fittings.
Overall, fine in its niche.

Windlass control switch
Highly satisfactory momentary up and down windlass switch for control (low current) circuit. Better and much cheaper than my earlier Lewmar equivalent.

Near perfect if the 4 modes earn similar priority to you.
Rubi Folding Work Bench - 4 In 1 Work Bench. I'm really pleased so far - this item seems strong enough and well built. For me, the platform mode was fully as desirable as the other 3. Some may question the bench height of 31 in - or the lack of leg splay transversely. Also, as a work bench, it's not as easy to clamp or grip work-pieces as with some dedicated benches. My (Irwin) F clamps have a long threaded length meaning that the clamp's articulated pad can rise sufficiently within the frame, to achieve a satisfactory lock; IYSWIM. It's a great buy as long as 2 or more of the use modes add value for you.
