beware different sizes with same product number!!
These come in a long and a short version. Most applications use the long version. If you need the short version (3" vs ~5") be very careful about the part number because they are basically the same.

Awsome book
This is an excellent story, action and characters. My highest recommendation. Read the whole series of three books.

great special purpose macro flash
This is a special product for macro photography and has features not to be found with many other flash units.
A great match for the MP-E lens.
Like all flash photography some effort needs to be made with diffusers, etc. to keep the light from appearing to harsh.
It's kind of bulking and awkward with all it's pieces, but probably still better than most cobbled together macro flash solutions with miscellaneous rube-goldberg type diffuser structures.
