VETUS Bow Thruster Panel w/Buttons & Time Lapse

Go with the joystick version

I "had" to purchased this type of thruster panel because of space requirements for my aft helm station. I had this same panel at my main helm and replaced it with a joystick version because the arrow buttons occasionally "stuck" (?) and sometimes I needed to look at the panel to make sure I was pushing the right button! Not a good thing when your docking or maneuvering in tight quarters. The power button is also "complicated" as you need to push it twice to power up and sometimes you push it by mistake again and then you need to start over and beep beep beep and anyway on my other boats thrusters you push two "on" buttons simultaneously and good to go. Long and short of it the joy stick version of this panel functions way better but you will need to learn and overcome the power button idiosyncrasies. Don't buy a used one probably has issues...

Make your wife happy!

Really cool and fairly easy to program -if you have well known electronics. Just enter the model and maker of your device and the program does the rest! If not -you will need the remote for the device you want to program. Easy to assign functions to buttons its a bit of a learning curve but worth it, I ditched 5 remotes and this one now does it all.
