Far superior quality replacement for old iron with alternator conversion

I put a alternator conversion on my 1976 XLCH 1000 and the voltage regulator that comes with it burned up. After figuring out the OEM replacement part number I found these and they work very reliably as long as they are properly grounded (ground thru mounting it)
