Hugh Nibley's BYU Pearl of Great Price Class Lectures.
These are lectures given by Hugh Nibley in his BYU Pearl of Great Price class sometime in late 1986.. These lectures are for an advanced class and one would benefit from the transcript that is also available, making it much easier to follow along with what is being said. The topics and depth he goes into is extensive.
It may not be for everybody do to the fact it only loosely covers the specifics in the Pearl of Great Price and spends more time with other biblical research and ancient documents surrounding the topics in the book.
For those who are familiar with Dr. Nibley and his great insight and scholarship you will not be disappointed.

Margaret Barker's non-mormon view of Joseph Smith and Mormonism
The book is a compellation of articles by different authors on Joseph Smith and Mormonism. Margaret Barker's chapter in the book gives a great perspective on the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith from a non-Mormon biblical scholar. She deals with pre-exiled Israel and Mormonism before Israel went through the purges by King Josiah in 2nd Kings Margaret Barker is a well respected scholar that has written numerous books ranging from the mother goddess in ancient Israel to its original temple theology.
