Great!
This one is nice, has that loop driven element & a nice circular thing instead of just a zip tie. I picked up sixty-two (62) access points in my 1-story home away from windows.

With a good antenna, it is okay, but rechargeable options are limited
When hooked to a cheap Scosche mag-mount antenna, 3 mile range was attained. Voice quality is good.
When not plugged in, requires nine (9) AA at 13.5 volt, so fully-charged rechargeable 1.25 volt NiMH did not turn on this radio. You'll have to find a portable external pack to plug into the side jack when not plugged into a car.
