I owned and liked the previous Literati, but this brand new 2nd Edition Version was shipped to me broken and had to be returned.

A word of caution: BE VERY CAREFUL WHERE YOU BUY AN E-READER. Although e-readers are reasonably durable and may be designed as durable as a pocket calculator they are not hockey pucks and need to be gently handled during use and carefully stored and shipped in the proper shipping cartons. Private individuals reselling their used e-readers may or may not follow these handling guidelines. YOU WOULD BE WELL ADVISED TO LIMIT YOU PURCHASES OF REFURBISHED E-READERS TO LARGE DEPARTMENT STORE CHAINS AND THE MANUFACTURES THEMSELVES.
