Akai Professional EIE PRO 24-bit Audio/MIDI Interface with USB Hub

Not impressed

For the price I expected something a bit better. It looks and feels awesome but there are better around this price range. Also, a lot of people have said they've had trouble with them stop working and I bought mine anyway because of the aesthetics of it...and well a few weeks of use and it stopped working completely sometimes and would make a weird noise when it did work..loud enough to ruin even the best recording sessions. Definitely won't buy akai again for a long time. Very disappointed. I bought a focus rite preamp and it's been insanely impressive with the sound quality.
