Best marine external speaker ever!

Speaker doesn't work. :(
Mic is not functional upon receipt. I installed it on my iCom V86 and the speaker is not working. The mic button activates the transmit; however, I get no sound out of the speaker. If I'm missing something, like a setting in the radio, then maybe that's it, but I've always just plugged these smaller mics in and they work fine. This one does not. I'm sure it's a fine product, and I just got a lemon. First iCom product I've ever bought that didn't work, so I'm still a big fan of iCom but maybe not used equipment on eBay from now on. I'll stick to new stuff from now on. If I'm wrong and it's just a setting, then I'll be happy to revise my review, but the iCom manual says nothing about any settings for accessories plugged into the ports except for ear pieces that work on VOX. This mic does not use the vox settings, so I think it's just broken.
