Great value for dock line
This is a very reasonable priced rope for dock lines. It is half the price of regular line from Yale or Samson. It is spliceable but you have to be careful that the cover and core strands do not get caught on the fid or the tape as it will pull them and cause problems with getting the splice to complete properly. I found that making a smooth tape connection on the fid and pushing the core or cover toward the fid which opens up the section prevented snagging the fibers. This rope does not seem to use the refined materials of the regular yacht braids but for the price it is an excellent substitute for everyday basic applications. I am not sure it would work well for halyards or control lines.

Very good quality
Good quality product at a reasonable price. May not be the refined machined product like the MagnaMatic but considering that is half the price it is still a good product and does the job quite well.
