Simply Beautiful

This was my very first carousel car and I was blown away. These are great diecast cars, with amazing detail.

Great looking model.

This is a really great looking model from Minichamps. My general feelings on Minichamps is that they are a really good diecast manufacturer at a great price point. This is my first Minichamps diecast that has a detachable section to reveal the engine. I was very impressed with this addition. This version also makes it easy to add the correct John Player tobacco livery which is also conveniently available on eBay. The model has a great feel to it, it’s very heavy and feels robust. The wheels turn along with the steering wheel, but there isn’t too much play in the suspension. This is a very historical race car in terms of F1 technology with the introduction of true ground effects. Ronnie Peterson is also one of my favorite historical drivers, and this car is from the year he perished, though it’s not the car he perished in. That car was a model from year before has he had heavily damaged the current model of his car in a practice crash. Anyone looking to add a great historical car to their collection should take a serious look at this car.

If your a fan of F1 or just Motorsports in general, minichamps makes a great a model. This is a lovingly recreating Michael Schumacher Benetton car from his last year with the team (1995) before moving on to Ferrari.
