easy to set up , gives one 3 extra usb ports
using a owc mercury elite pro mini with a c-1,2nd gen thunderbolt outlet (need ac apapter as
the hub has just enough power for bus .and that way you don’t lose a port , then the thunder cable to 2012 mid MBP it does drop the speed
which is about 7-8 go/s much better then
460, one has to make sure it’s a thunderbolt
thenderbolt 2cable and a apple or equivalent adapter and one wants a ac adapter to power
the drive it does the job.
the thenderbolt 1 hubs are hard to find
a thunderbolt 2 hub does great
its gets a bit harder with a thunderbolt 3 hub
