works as advertised, easier to use than my standard bowl gouge and since I am turning a lot of wood with ' fungus decay ' for their great figure and lines ,this tool allows a light delicate cut at 1500 rpm

interchangeable handle= less fatigue
this handle fits nicely in my grip and does not fatigue my hands and fore arm in long ,3-4 hr, turning stints. The uniform shape allows me to change my grip often, back to front, and this may be some of the reason for longer turning times.
