A Very Good Video Card
I had purchased two Benq GW2765 2560x1440 monitors for my primary workstation, a Dell Optiplex Core i5 running Windows 10, that have DVI-DL, HDMI, and DisplayPort ports. My old Asus video card wouldn't do. It had two DVI ports, but only one was DVI-D, which is required for that hight resolution. The other was DVI-S. After shopping around for DisplayPort cards, I decided to try the AMD FirePro W2100.
After installation and connecting the monitors, I started the computer. The default resolution that came up was 800x600. I installed the drivers and rebooted. I was then able to adjust the resolution and enable the second monitor. I also connected a third, smaller monitor to the computer's built-in port and enabled that, although it runs at only 1280x1024. (I use it to monitor remote systems, and its display never changes.)
I am very pleased with the W2100. It's fast and does more than what I'll ever ask it to do (I'm not a gamer).
