Fender FSR Jazz Body
This Fender FSR (Fender Special Release) Jazz body is an Ash body and just like a lot of the 70's Fender basses sounds great. One of the best sounding resonant woods. The early 80s Fender Elite II had Ash bodies as does the Fender Marcus Miller Signature Jazz basses. I build and customize, play and sell basses and love using Ash bodies with my #blackjackbasses custom basses. This one has Sadowsky pickups and a Sadowsky preamp as does my Fender Marcus Miller. If you are considering an Ash body bass I say go for it. Check the weight cause they can be heavy. If you're looking for a one of a kind customized Fender or custom build check out my Facebook page "BlackJack Basses". Thanks

Mmm Big Bass Bridges
1 of 1 found this helpful One of the easiest upgrades you can do is to install a new bridge. This is a cool looking bridge that works great and adds to any bass. If you have a black, gold, white or sunburst finish then this black Hipshot KickAss 4 bridge is a great value that is priced right. If you've never replaced one before the go on YouTube and check out the DIY videos, there are plenty. I love mine

One of the best Warwick makes
The sound of wood is good and in this case It's also compact and fun to play. If you can get one for under $1400 then you should. The NT or Neck Through versions are a good deal at under $1800. You really can't go wrong with a German made Warwick and as long as the condition is good they will hold their value.
