A great machine that works like a charm.
6 of 8 found this helpful Since I am not enough of an aficionado to have owned any other espresso machines than this one, I can only report that I was recommended to this machine over all the others as a first machine to get for home use. With very little effort you will find reports, comparisons, and reviews elsewhere on the web. My experience however has been that the machine is neat and trim on the countertop and it makes a great cup of espresso and great steamed milk drinks. I also think that wholelattelove.com is a great store to deal with.
Six years later, this machine is a workhorse in our house, reliably making great coffee every day.

A master interpreter in his element
This recording demonstrates again why Anner Bylsma is a treasure to the world of music. It can be assumed that the interpretation will be masterful, but enjoy his personal, intimate way with the cello concerti. Matters of taste notwithstanding, Mr. Bysma's recordings are always satisfying.

Essential to every musician's library
All those interested in how music works can benefit from this book. For performers, I consider this text to be essential because it unlocks the central point of music - motion. Sound in motion. Mr. McGill makes it so clear and inspiring, I refer to this book almost daily in my music teaching. My students have even begun referring to Sound in Motion with an acronym - SIM. Soon after delving into the book I began to correlate the phrasing and movement in verbal sentences with the concept of movement in effective musical phrases. Without motion, music and speech are dull and lifeless, but with even a basic understanding of making motion in music, one is engaged in making the notes live. This book feels essential. I recommend it highly.
