Sow’s ear turned into a silk purse
Bought a European police surplus Beretta 85F that, as typical for a cop gun, had been fired seldom but probably left too long in a leather holster. There were nicks in the aluminum alloy frame and the bluing on the barrel and recoil spring guide rod were worn and showing brown rust. Fortunately the inside of the barrel is chrome lined.
I purchase the Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black pen and the paste bluing kit. Followed the instructions carefully for preparing both the aluminum and steel and the results from both products were outstanding! This neglected Eurocop gun now looks like a factory new Beretta 85F.
I just might buy nothing but used guns from now on and refinish them myself. Nice that the kit includes everything you need except cold water.

Comfortable and "grippy"
I like these on my keymod handguard. Slightly rounded and a grippy texture without adding much thickness to the handguard.

Old, worn out batteries
I bought two of these for an old cellphone where the batteries were old and worn out. When new, this type of battery will run the phone on standby for a week or more. These batteries are obviously used and also worn out as they run down after being fully charged in one day. Bottom line is that they were no better than the worn out OEM battery they were to replace.
