98-03 Mercedes CLK-Class Convertible Top.. Hydraulic Cylinder Repair Seal ..W208

The best repair method for convertible top hydraulic cylinders.

First off the quality of the seal itself is better than what Mercedes had stuffed into their cylinders. Will outlast their OEM seal. The most difficult part of the whole process is disassembling the cylinder, which if you know how Google works then it should be no problem. I highly recommend this rebuild kit.

So like many others, my folding step cover came off and was lost. Now I never use the darn thing but that cover is at the top of the tail gate and it's very ugly without it so I wanted it replaced. Fits great and looks original.
