Bad vibration fixed
This is the second one I installed so I now have one on each gable on opposite ends of the house. The other one is the one for up to 1900 sq ft, but they appear identical in every way. This one was louder and making an unpleasant noise. I traced the noise to the cover of the thermostat box that was vibrating. I secured it with 2 sheet metal screws and the noise was fixed.

Works great
It took several hours to install, but well worth it as I could immediately feel the attic temperature drop after turning it on. I first installed and socket in the attic and wired a plug to the supplied junction box. I made a custom mounting plate out of 3/4 inch plywood. I am ordering a second one for the other end of my attic. My only concern is that the rings are made of plastic. The blades are steel.

Amazed
I have no idea how they can manufacture such a quality product out of good materials and ship it all the way here from China for under $2
