OtterBox Samsung Galaxy S7 Defender Genuine Black Otter Case Trade Heavy Shock

Good product!

I tried an Armorsuit screen protector but broke my screen twice using Armorsuit screen protectors when I dropped my phone from hip height. They are only made for protecting against scratches from keys in your pocket etc (they don't say this in their advertising though). I then tried Lifeproof Fre Shockproof case for my S7 and had problems with it. I couldn't touch type with this case on, and I couldn't plug my AUX cable into the phone with this case on. The OtterBox case protects the screen yet it still is sensitive to typing on the screen. It seems tough and it lets the sound come out of the phone speakers clearly (but the case isn't waterproof). Bottom flaps for the charging port and headphones are a bit fiddly to close, but OK. A good value for money case. I'd buy another one for my next phone.

Does not protect your phone from falls

I received a ArmorSuit screen protector for the S7 and knocked my phone off a basket that was less than hip level. The screen hit a pipe on the way down and shattered. When I raised the issue that this is now the 2nd screen I've had shatter whilst using the ArmorSuit screen protector I got the following reply: "Please kindly note that our screen protectors does not protect against hard impacts. It's main tasks include: minor-scratch prevention, reduction of Dust, Oil & Fingerprint Smudges. We are sorry to hear that your phone was damaged, however, any impacts that are above 2 feet is considered a hard impact." If you are looking to protect your S7 screen from shattering, I'd recommend trying something like the Lifeproof Fre ShockProof Waterproof Case Cover.
