HELIKON TEX® Outdoor Camping BUSHCRAFT / MATILDA Backpack® / Coyote

I traded Alice for Matilda.

There’s something about Coyote Brown that makes my heart flutter a little and when I saw this pack in my go to Bushcraft color, I had to pull the trigger. Apparently I’m not the only one to Coyote Brown because this was hard to find! I’ve been looking for a good medium to large pack for a while and thought the Helikon Tex Matilda pack looked like a good choice. The pack is around 35 liters and LIGHT. I added three more pouches from the same company. The three packs that are built on to the Matilda have a sleeve behind them to slide and ax handle or saw. The three packs I added have this same feature built in but a little smaller. The add on packs also have Velcro at the bottom of their built in sleeves to create a pocket option as well. There are four Molle straps on the bottom of this pack to secure and carry whatever your heart desires. The waist strap is also replete w generous Molle webbing. I attached a Maxpedition Rolly Poly pouch on the left side of my waist and carry a water bottle on the right. The waist strap is fully adjustable to find the sweet spot on your hips to support the weight, therefore, giving a major break to your shoulders. Another feature I ❤️ is NO ZIPPERS. I HATES the zippers... The main pack and the three intrinsic pouches that come with it all have draw string tops w plastic snap buckles closures. This pack is perfect for day hikes , scout and three day packs.
