Be careful which one you get...blue background has micro usb, red does not
1 of 1 found this helpful I ordered this product because I wanted to have a complete set of adapters to put in my laptop bag. I have a shorter extender cable for traveling, and like to have the ability to use a printer, external hdd, phone, etc, without having a million different cables.
I tried ordering another cable, and discovered that micro usb adapters are apparently not very standard in these sorts of kits. So I went to a local brick-and-mortar store, and found one of these Belkin adapters on the shelf. I wrote down the model number, went home, and ordered off of ebay. $20 in store, $7 on ebay.
However, I didn't pay much attention to the fact that the one in the store had a blue background in the packaging...and this one has a red background.
Apparently the red background is an older model, which does NOT have the micro usb adapter. So if you want micro usb, make sure you get one with a BLUE background.
Other than that, it is a well made cable, and the other adapters seem to work well. I've kept it to use with my laser printer at home, since having a 16 foot cable on the printer is nice. Still, would have liked to have had that micro usb adapter...it's the reason I bought it in the first place.

great LITTLE tripod
I wanted a very small tripod to use with my optoma ML550 projector. Had a meeting where the built-in screw out leg in the front of the projector just wasn't enough. Ended up with the projector wobbling on top of a stack of file folders.
I wanted something that would fit in the bag with the projector without wasting a lot of space. This definitely fits the bill. It is extremely small, taking barely any space at all when it is folded up. However it is very solidly built: solid metal construction. The ball joint is tight enough to hold the projector and remain quite stable, but is easy enough to tilt. Screw fits the mount perfectly, and the arms fold/unfold quite easily, but with a slight click when they extend into place to keep them from folding/unfolding accidentally.
It also does exactly what I wanted. My projector's built-in foot provides something like 4 degrees of tilt. This tripod allows me to tilt the projector by something like 16-18 degrees, which is probably about as much as the keystone adjustment could compensate for anyway.
The feet on the tripod are also made of a very good rubber. There is no danger of it sliding around. All in all, I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

beware: older model, does NOT have a true modern micro usb adapter
The main reason I bought this was to have a full set of usb adapters to put in my laptop bag, so that I could be ready to use a printer, external HDD, phone, or whatever. However I was very disappointed to discover that it didn't actually have a modern micro usb adapter. It has a couple of early proprietary adapters that say micro usb, but they are for old panasonic digital cameras and such.
