Exactly what I needed
the switch was the exact part I needed for the GE ref bought new in 1972. GE no longer carried the part: its working great!

GOOD brakes are a essential
The OEM front brake pads are on our vehicle: they looked good and they work good.

Replaced Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor; but needed a new EVAP Purge Valve Sol
It has the same GM part No. as the original and is working fine: the reason I answered 'yes' to the three questions of recommend, good value, and good quality. However it did not get rid of the trouble code: PO455 or the DIC message "CHECK GAS CAP" or turn off the "CHECK ENGINE LIGHT." I assume the original Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor I replaced is still good.
I found the EVAP Purge Valve Solenoid to be defective, and replaced it: that got rid of the "CHECK GAS CAP" message after the second engine start up; and the "CHECK ENGINE LIGHT" has stayed off since the fifth engine start up. Now ready for "SMOG" Test.
