Not bad
I’m usually more inclined to the older, pre-1983 Coleman products designed and produced while the company was still under the control of the Coleman family 1979, however these 288s aren’t all that bad.

Great radios
Although an older model from the 1990s the HT1000 is a proven versatile multipurpose 16 channel only conventional two-way radio.
The R split model will cover a wide range of UHF frequencies that includes the Amateur 440 MHz/70 CM band as well as GMRS, public safety and business industrial land mobile.

Great product
Coleman doesn’t make these anymore but they should, one of the best accessories you could ever buy for use with any and all of your liquid gas fueled lanterns and stoves.
