poor quality
they stopped working hours after I plugged them in. all the bulbs are blackened. the 2 mini fuses on the plug were not blown,but the bulbs are. the fuses are there to protect the bulbs no?.. so replaced the fuses anyway.. no change. none of the bulbs work.

bad packaging, delivered damaged
I have to say when I saw the "free shipping" I did not think that it could be as bad as it was.
I mean shipping a 31 pound power steering rack with vulnerable hydraulic lines on the out side.. exposed , one might think to better protect them.. They did not, the box was torn and the lines were damaged
ALSO with further inspection I noticed that the "new" lines were in fact poorly manufactured. the bends were don't with haste almost to the point of a kink.....the lines were definitely restricted by the improper bends from the factory. I weighed the cost of this vs a Toyota part. and I should have gone right to the dealer for the correct part. it cost more.....but look what happened....bottom line: I could NOT fix my ruck when I needed to. and I had the burden of returning a 31 pound 4.5 foot long package back trough the mail system........and then waited for my $371 to be returned ...there is no way I can recommend this item to anyone. my experience was poor. oh did I mention when I called carsteeringexperts they hung up on me twice in a row.
IF the lines were good from the factory and they could have used a wood crate to ship it.....then things would have worked out.....but heck!! they couldn't even right fragile on the card board box it came in that was trashed

low quality china parts, NOT OEM
I believe this ad is misleading, under "brand" the seller lists sthil. In fact the brand is farmertec, farmertec is a Chinese company.
I can safely argue that because this component was not made by the original manufacturer AND it is used on the chain brake system, it may not work right and could pose a safety issue. Safety issues with devices meant to protect you are a big problem.
I would also like to mention the torx head fasteners that come with this cover are too long and protrude through the oem chain brake cover and needed to be filed down prior to installation.
