doesn't read propery
I installed this unit along with a new fuel tank of my Grand Fury. The gauge now reads so far off I have to use the odometer to keep track of my gas. When showing empty it still has about 1/2 a tank of gas. The needle will show full when the tank is full but moves quickly down. It's almost like it's a different ohm range than what it is supposed to be. I should have kept the original because it worked fine but I wanted to make sure I replaced everything so I wouldn't have to drop the tank again. My mistake.

Excellent valves and a great price
These valves are excellent quality. The feature under cut stems and back cut heads for an increase in flow compared with stock replacements. Flow bench testing showed almost 10 cfm increase on the intakes and 6 cfm on the exhaust. Those results are similar to time consuming bowl porting and since you're going to replace the valves anyway why not reap the benefits of increased performance?

For a sparkling clean pool this is the best system you can get!
1 of 1 found this helpful I am extremely impressed with this filter/pump combo. It comes with enough hoses to easily plumb it into any existing Intex manufactured pool. I installed it in place of the factory supplied filter/pump and the difference is so drastic you'll ask yourself why you hadn't done this from the beginning. To give some history, this is the second year I've had my 18' Coleman above ground pool. Last summer I struggled to keep it clean. I bought a vacuum and hose and tried to clean it but the original filter would plug up after only cleaning about 1/3 of the pool. It didn't filter the water quickly enough to keep sediment from getting in the water and causing it to periodically look cloudy, especially after heavy use. The new system from Bestway filters the entire volume of water in about 3 to 4 hours and it now looks crystal clear even after my whole family came and swam all weekend. And the suction while vacuuming is phenomenal. I was a professional pool servicer for 3 and a half years and this pump vacuums a pool like the expensive systems on the big in-ground pools. You will instantly notice the increase in water flow as your normally calm pool turns into a moving water system. The pump is also much quieter than the original pump. I love it. The only complaint is that I wish it had a pump basket in front of the pump to catch large debris like leaves and bugs. This would make vacuuming the pool even faster. But that's a small thing and it isn't that bad. Overall you need this system if you want your pool to sparkle.
