DO NOT BUY!
Poor quality product. The product shipped was not the same as the photo.

Great Edge, Stiff Lock
Great edge, good finish, and good opening and closing. The tip lock is very stiff and hard to operate. I have lubricated it and it will loosen up with use.

Acceptable quality at a good price.
1 of 1 found this helpful This mic is 80% of the way to a quality microphone. As it comes it is wired as an unbalanced output. This can be corrected by rewiring it correctly. The other problem is that it does not contain an output transformer like the real thing. This alters the frequency response giving the sound a different EQ than the real thing. I tried wiring in an original 58 transformer and it restores the EQ and level to match the original. I don't like that they put a weight inside instead of the transformer to give it the correct weight and feel.
