  New as described. Plugged in and it ran for a few minutes before a quiet pop signaled the end. Seller was very apologetic (though not his fault of course) an immediately sorted out the return. The whole process was as easy as it could have been. Thoroughly recommend the seller. Can't say the same for CTEK chargers following this experience (looking online this issue is not that uncommon, but not usually after just a few minutes!)
