Program cable
Easy to use. Worked first time. Loaded on to Windows 7. You may need to run chip checking software and download the chip exe program first.
Plug cable into USB port. Then load program. Plug in the radio and turn on the power. A little light will show for 1-2 secs. Now. Firstly you need to read the radio. Once read you should save it as a file.
Once that's done. Start to fill in your frequencies. Transmit can be different to Receive for use with repeaters. CTCSS tones can be typed in for Receive or Transmit
When typing in the frequency I found pressing the space bar then the Enter key stops the whole channel info being deleted.
The other items you may want to change are the button functions.
I've set the M button for short push to start Scan and Long push to open the squelch.
If you have set CTCSS on a Channel then you will get a BUSY light showing (green) if some ones not using the correct CTCSS tone
Just take time reading the rather brief instruction manual.
YouTube has several videos that can help.
S-1200 15W 130LM Portable Led Bulb Light Charged Solar Energy Lamp Home Outdoor

Its OK but a bit dim
Bought this as an emergency light as we can get power cuts during rough weather.
First problem was that the solar panel would not plug into the bulb. It uses the mini USB plug used on Android devices as well as many others. After a bit of its going in or its going tobreak, i finally got it to fit.
The solar panel will only charge in very bright direct sun light. If its a bit cloudy its not going to charge.
It seems to be built Ok for cheap chinese made device.
NOW.... the light output isnt great. Its not 15 watts. I have a wired USB bulb shaped lamp thats 5 watts and its at least twice as bright. Bt even so you could read a book by it in the dark.
If your using it in a tent or tree house it will illuminate the area so you can see where your going.
I charged mine with a 1 amp generic wall charge from Poundland ( dollar store ) The charge LED doesnt seem to go out, so never sure if its fully charged. Ive been using my lamp on and off for two weeks ( about 14 hours ) and it still working.
Oh yes, the item in NOT water proof.
Could be used as a safe night light ?
Overall not bad. Solar charging hit or miss so I wouldn't rely on it. Defo charge it with a plugin wall charger .

Well. Firstly these radios are just 500mw. So your not going to get long range in any area with buildings. Open FLAT country you will get further. These have no external aerials which also hinder reception and distance.
Radio has on/off power switch and 3 other buttons that all have a double function. Short press and Long press. They are fully programmable.
You HAVE TO buy a separate program cable. It usually comes with a cd rom with the radio software.
The softwAre is quite easy to use I feel but I have several Chinese made radios. There are a few YouTube videos telling you how to do it.
What's in the box ??
Well two Radios, ear pod with a PTT and microphone, sub charge leads and two neck lanyards.
They will work right out of the box. But in uk it's only got a couple of legal frequencies you can use. Your pair may differ.
Radios have s trip colours LED. Whitish for power on. Red for transmit and Green for receive. Various bless can be set in programming for power on or low power alert.
Radios can be given a password to prevent being programmed by other people.
Radios can also be programmed with a Lease Feature. This allows the radio to work for a set time period ( hours / days / months )
I've programmed my pair to 446mhz ( 8 channels ). And some 70cm Amature repeaters.
