Beautifully illustrated/photographed book!
Possibly more information that might ever want to know about National Geographic and birds, but stunning none the less. Nicely done. An extremely heavy book.

Tremendous camera (pro photographer with 45+ years experience)
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a very satisfying camera to use all the way around. It has superb image quality and RAW files with incredible detail and depth. JPEG/JPG files are the same, although I don't use those as often. It is very ergonomic -- feels good in the hand -- including (when used) a very nicely designed vertical grip. Legacy lenses from Minolta are superb - the images have a wonderful "fire" and quality about them - and those lenses are fairly plentiful and cost-effective, too. But if you want more modern glass, the Zeiss, Sigma Art, and higher end Tamron lenses are absolutely marvelous. The viewfinder is bright, clear, and gives 100% of the image. The shutter has a nice "clunk" to it. Battery life is incredible. Camera covers all the basics extremely sell. You won't get a few things that are nice, but in general, perhaps more rarely used (unless you need them): live view (doesn't happen), focus "peaking" - nope! In fact there could be a few more focus points and that might make the camera even more perfect. For this guy, however, I love this thing - and that's saying something (I hope) after a long professional career in photography - and from a guy that used Hasselblads, Nikons, Pentax 6x7's, view cameras - and very early on -- Speed Graphics, lol! BTW, the A850 is superb also. Not as fast of a "motor drive", but almost the equal of the A900 and even more of a value in terms of $$$.
