Excellent optics, but huge diameter and it blocks viewfinder and flash.

I trust the Tiffen name. I used their lenses on my Minolta X-700 35mm film for 20 years. I live in the SW USA and you really need a circular polarizing filter for the harsh sunlight, to to bring out the blue skys, etc. & to protect the main camera lens as well. My new (N.O.S) camera is digital, a Canon PowerShot SX40 superzoom.
