It is everything it says it is.
The only criticism I would have is that my X220 does not connect as easily as previous port expanders in the Thinkpad line. Perhaps this is because it was designed to work with a large number of different models. It certainly expands the number of USB ports and video ports considerably. If you need to attach more than a power cord to a computer that you move around, it is worth it.

Not lithium battery
this product does not act as if it is a lithium battery. My laser pointer is bright for a brief period and then there is a slow decline in brightness. It it were a lithium battery there would be no change in brightness until it stops.It is good value for an alkaline cell battery
