A great unit awaiting the full test.
Hello . I bought the Garmin 1300 because it is loaded with USA maps in it and my wife and I will be driving in the US in March.
The item is as described and in perfect condition. I have turned it on and it works but I cannot use it on the roads here in the land of OZ. I already have 2 other vehicle Garmin GPS units and a personal one in my boat.
So, I have a great item and will have to wait for a while before I can give it a full test in the traffic around Los Angelas..

Great old product to replace my faulty GPS.
I bought the GPS which arrived to Australia in under 3 weeks.
Now you have to remember this GPS is long outdated [ 1995] but is the same model as the one I had. My old one has lost many lines of horzontal pixels and is extremely hard to read.
It took a while to enter the co-ordinates from my old GPS into it [ my son in law has better eyes than me ] and then I took it with me in my boat on Monday 28th Novenber. It must have all worked OK because we caught our limit of fish that morning. Thanks for a great unit.
