All in all it works well
28 of 30 found this helpful This is my 1st Dewalt pole saw. I have used it quite a bit and it works fairly well. But it does need a bit more power, professional it is not. I think it should be made in 60volt. If the saw chain bits in the wood too much, it just stops. Even with a fully charge battery. It leaks chain oil, but I haven't seen a chainsaw that doesn't. It's heavy on the saw end but that just helps it cut better. It's hard to do an under cut on the branch to prevent bark tear.
