A Disappointment!
To much about sailing at a time when Thelonious Monk was on stage for only one song as was Jerry Mulligan on stage for one piece. But of course Armstrong was on for close to ten minutes. Mahalia Jackson sang three songs what was she doing at a jazz concert singing religious songs. Like Chuck Berry a rock star! A good value considering it is vhs. But I would not recommend it!!

Superb Requiem!
This is Robert Schumann at his best!! Very excellently played. I highly recommend this Requiem. I collect every requiem I can get my hands on. This is one I put at the top of the list.

Yoy can,t go wrong with Beethoven,Nashville Sym.,and Naxos.
I bought this product simply because I am a fan of Beethoven.I was very pleased at it,s playing. I feel the Nashville sym. did a great job on this Beethoven,s only religious composition. I have other cd,s of the Nashville Sym. As for Naxos, you can,t go wrong! I highly recommend this playing of Missa Solemnis.
