Good Sony quality
Have purchased 3 units over past couple years; 2 for myself and one for a friend. An excellent quality at reasonable price. Uses radio communication not IR so you can leave the room and still hear the program. Especially good for older TV without Bluetooth technology; only requires a standard audio jack.

Plug and play
Bought it as replacement for a Thermor unit built for National Geographic that got damaged by hail. This unit was a direct replacement, no modification required, plug and play. Now my weather station should be good for another 10 years barring hail damage.
