Purchased as a Xmas gift for my wife. She was able to start using it right away as the instruction book was well laid out for the basics. Takes great

Better than nothing
1 of 1 found this helpful It doesn't hold it's position well if the road is especially bumpy or if travelling at highway speeds, especially if it's windy out. Constantly re-adjusting it. Looks a lot like OEM but if you're selling the bike, the replacement mirror will be quite noticeable to any potential buyers. Better to pay the extra for an O.E.M.

Nice looking unit, poor radio reception.
The head unit plays cd's and USB keys well but the AM and FM radio reception is terrible. We can't get our favourite stations or we get them with static and volume changes. Stick to recorded music and you should be OK as the sound is pretty good for the price. The Bluetooth telephone function works well and is a useful addition for hands free calls. The display can be hard to see in bright sunlight or if you are wearing polarized sunglasses. The volume occasionally drops on bumps. I've rechecked the connections and they seem OK. I had soldered the wires rather than using regular connectors to insure good connections. The installation kit was a very poor fit with a near 1/4 in. gap around the heater and A/C controls but at least it doesn't squeak. I guess you get what you pay for.
