You get what you pay for

This winch comes with dynema synthetic rope /cable .It slipped out of the anchoring clamp and failed . We refitted the anchor point and rewound the cable under heavy load to take the stretch out of the rope and it performed much better .Just be aware ,if you use Dynema type rope it must be tension'd and anchored to the drum prior to heavy use .
