Lifesaver that people don't usually consider
1 of 1 found this helpful I have been in a motorcycle accident before and I was lucky that the offending drive hit me in the right spot and right speed for me to survive. But I see so many that have sustained back and neck injury on the road. These reports led me to this device.
It is very lightweight and it supports the weight of the helmet well for long road trips so it is working well in that regard too.
I hope I never have to use it, but this unit is definitely worth owning for the inevitable accident that will happen to me again as there are way too many bad drivers on the road.

Good alternative
I have been buying the major brand item for a long time. But I wanted to find some alternatives as the price of the "other brand" is getting to be a lot more than some of its competitors, but features have never changed.
I am glad I found the 3D Maxpider unit. It is lightweight and fit perfectly into my vehicle. The surface is not slippery with snowy boots on after entering the vehicle and the water/debris stayed in place. The backing sticks to the carpeted areas perfect and has not shifted.
I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a high quality solution at half the price.
