Heel Guard, OEM Suzuki Part, Modified a Little
I had broken my Foot peg/ Master cylinder hanger/ Heel Guard on a '96 Suzuki. Started searching for a replacement and found most would fit from any generation. This Heel Guard I found here on EBay was from a 2001. By this generation the manufacturer had added a thicker support system on the rear of the hanger right where mine had broke off at, the bottom Master cylinder bolt. Was happy to see Suzuki had fixed the problem with the older design and it still fits my generation of bike. Anyhow, I got this used one off EBay, took off the partial foot peg assy. and cleaned it up a bit with a wire brush. After putting it on the bike, I went over the brushed aluminum face of the heel guard with a 3D carbon fiber vinyl. I needed it to shine a little bit less to blend in with my bike.
