INVESTIGATE LEAK FURTHER!
1 of 1 found this helpful I BOUGHT THIS KIT AND A GENUINE BRAND NEW GM OIL COOLER WAS INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED MECHANIC
AFTER ALMOST 10.000 KM THE CAR IS LEAKING COOLANT FROM THE OIL COOLER AREA
PROBLEM WILL HAVE TO BE INVESTIGATED FURTHER BUT MOST LIKELY A PIPE LEAK IN THE OIL COOLER COOLANT PIPES....
GO FOR THE GENUINE ONE IF POSSIBLE! OR PROBABLY YOU LL HAVE TO DO THE JOB TWICE!
UPDATE!!! ORINGS WERE REMOVED AND COMPARED WITH THE OLD USED GM THAT WERE REMOVED AND KEPT IN STORAGE UNTIL NOW BEFORE INSTALLATION WITH 100.000 KM ON IT... WELL, THE ONE FOR COOLANT FROM THE KIT WITH JUST 10.000 KM WERE SHRINKED IN SIZE AND VOLUME....HENCE THE COOLANT LEAK
